This beautiful little
reservoir is about 40 miles east of Moscow, Idaho. At only 10-15
feet deep, it’s shallow, yet holds an impressive amount of fish.
Muskrats and beavers live along this reservoir. There is a primitive
gravel boat launch with dock, and nearby accessible restroom, with
no running water. There is no beach, but people who come to this
reservoir to swim do so from various sites along the banks. There
is camping available around this lake, with the main campground with
host on its north shore. Moose Creek Reservoir is a good lake for
kayaking or dinghy sailing, and of course, fishing. This is a
no-motor lake. Directions: From Moscow Idaho on HWY
95, take HWY 8 east almost all the way to Bovill Idaho; watch for
the sign to Moose Creek Reservoir on Moose Creek Road, then follow
this road to the reservoir. Maps: To view a map click
